Description: This is an advertisement to the Request for Quote (RFQ) VA-259-12-Q-0315. The VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System (ECHS) Medical Center, located at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, Colorado is soliciting offers from experienced and qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns capable of supplying all tools, labor, material and supervision required to install (28) 15-amp, 120 VAC circuits and (28) Cat5e data drops at the Denver VA Medical Center as shown on drawings. Cable shall run from the nearest telecommunications closets on each floor as noted. Contractor shall follow all VA policy, infection control requirements, and specifications to install outlets throughout the medical center. Contractor must have experience working in a medical center environment. The project number for this acquisition is 554-12-802. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Denver VA is issuing this Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Part 15 whereby technical capabilities and past performance are approximately equal in importance as to price. NAICS Code 238210 is applicable to this acquisition with and the business size standard is $14.0M. Solicitation documents will be available electronically at FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Information regarding an organized site visit and pre-proposal conference will be listed in the solicitation documents. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend the organized site visit to familiarize themselves with the project, project site and conditions which may affect your cost proposal. Only one site visit will be conducted. Upon review of solicitation documents, prospective offerors are encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing, in regards to the solicitation prior to the scheduled site visit. Solicitation number VA-259-12-Q-0315 has been assigned and shall be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement and solicitation.
