- The Kentucky Air National Guard Contracting Squadron, Louisville, KY, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a total of sixteen (16) Guardian Angel Water Crafts with 4 GARCs going to Alaska, 4 to Kentucky, 4 to California and 4 to New York. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The proposed source is Rapid Response Technology at 459 Columbus Ave, Ste 607 New York, New York 10024, Telephone Number: 808 372 3671, Web Site Address (if available): www.rapidresponsetechnology.net. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is based upon the sources sought notice F7H1ST1319A01 posted from 3 February 2012 to 13 February 2012. No responses were received. Award is anticipated to be made on 20 April 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Based on the above information, the only technically acceptable system is provided by Rapid Response Technology.
