Description
Amendment 1 Health Care Acquisition Activity-North intends to issue a contract with NHD Commonwealth X-Ray, 104 Eisenhower Court, Nicholasville, KY 40356, for 1 REGIUS Model 110 CR Reader, for use at the Camp Atterbury Troop Medical Clinic, Camp Atterbury, IN. The purchase will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). IAW FAR 19.201, the SBA provided a class waiver determining that when the SBA has determined that there are no small business manufacturers, a non-manufacturer does not have to furnish the product of a small business. Therefore this requirement is set-aside for small businesses. The REGIUS Model 110 CR Reader E-Class is the model currently in use by IACH and is part of the standardized equipment for the outlying MTFs. This equipment meets the hospital's existing requirements. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 334517. Small Business offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities, which will be reviewed. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 2PM Eastern Standard Time on 16 April 2012. All information in response to this notification must be submitted in writing to the attention of point of contact, Terry Hembree, Contract Specialist, email: terry.hembree@us.army.mil.
