- Description
- Solicitation for Dry-dock of CGC LINE The United States Coast Guard, SFLC-CPD C&P2-IBCT PL, proposes to contract the planned dry-dock & repairs of USCGC LINE (WYTL-65611), a 65' "C Class" Small Harbor Tug, home moorage in Bayonne, NJ. All work shall be at the Contractor's facility during the 43 day availability, period of performance 25 July 2012 through 05 September 2012. Work items include but are not limited to: Hull Plating ultrasonic testing, inspect, repair & preserve; Appendages leak test internal preserve; Sea Strainers-Simplex (all sizes) clean & inspect; Decks-exterior, prepare and coat (Pre Slip-Resistant Sheet Installation); Under Water Body preserve; Dry-docking; Temporary Services, provide; Keel Coolers, clean, inspect & hydro; Fathometer Transducer renew; Propulsion Shafting, remove, inspect, reinstall (straighten if necessary); Rudder Assembly, remove, inspect & reinstall; Underwater Body preserve; Propeller, remove, inspect & reinstall; Test & repair of half and full rounds. On or about 28 March 2012, a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The acquisition will be solicited as a Small Business Set Aside. Only certified 100% SB contractors may submit a quote. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
