Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to OTC Markets Group Inc, for real-time and historical trading and market data from the over-the-counter (OTC) market, including quotes for equity securities from the OTCQX exchange, OTCQB, FINRA OTC Bulletin Board and OTC Pink electronic quotation systems, and bid and ask prices for OTC corporate bonds and fixed income securities from the Yellow sheets quotation system. OTC Markets Group Inc. is the only known vendor capable of providing the data that is required by the Commission. The period of performance will be from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
