- Amended RFI to include Disposition Services ***AMENDMENT APRIL 12, 2012*** This amended RFI is to clarify that property disposition is included in this request. Please see items 11 and 12 in the introductory and "RFI Requirements" sections. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (Rural Development) is performing market research to identify potential small businesses that have the skills and extensive experience in providing property maintenance, preservation, and disposition services consisting of, but not limited to: (1) completion of the USDA Property Inspection Reports and ongoing inspection of property, (2) securing of property and debris removal (3) performance of cosmetic enhancement/repairs, (4) procuring of any bills requiring fee payments be issued by USDA, (5) on-going maintenance of property, (6) appraisals, (7) Hazardous material testing remediation/abatement and clearance, (8) pest control and removal, (9) eviction assistance, (10) ongoing maintenance in accordance with local ordinances, (11) disposition of REO properties through auction, brokered sale or other means, and (12) private attorney services for foreclosure activities and for USDA Real Estate Owned (REO) Single Family properties located in the 4 identified geographical areas attached (PLEASE NOTE: This will include Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, N. Mariana Islands, and the American Samoa. Attachment 1 is the draft map showing the anticipated contract service areas. For purposes of this RFI, USDA's objective is to identify interested sources that have existing facilities within, or are able to demonstrate capability of establishing an office location and capability to effectively service one or more of the contract areas in accordance with the Agency regulations and Rural Development Handbooks. USDA will entertain responses from interested sources that are unable to service multiple geographic areas, as provided, from any business in the United States capable of performing the suite of services outlined.
