Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to the Healthcare Association of Hawaii (HAH), for an annual Affiliate Membership to HAH at the VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System. This procurement is a sole source award under FAR 6.302-1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-56. The NAICS code is 813920 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide annual membership to the Healthcare Association of Hawaii, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association. Affiliate Membership: Available to outpatient or other health-related providers of alternative, community-based services such as medical clinics, Type I care homes, case management and referral services, and academic institutions with an interest in health care. This category of membership does not receive voting privileges and shall receive limited membership privileges.
