- RFQ package w/statement of work and draft BPA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being solicited in accordance with FAR 19.5 - Set-Asides for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 812332 and the size standard is $35.5 Million. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the requirement will be awarded under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Laboratory, located at the Environmental Science Center (ESC), in Fort Meade, MD has a requirement for the Contractor to provide Lab Coat Cleaning and Rental Services. Please Note - This location is a Guarded Military Post and for entry, there is a requirement to show Identification (i.e. Driver's License), Vehicle Registration and Proof of Insurance. The Solicitation is issued under RFQ-PA-12-00020. Please see the attached RFQ for specific details. The EPA, Region 3, intends to establish a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to fulfill this requirement; however, the Government reserves the right to not award any BPA and does not guarantee any order placements. The resultant BPA award will be five (5) years in duration. Quotations shall be accompanied by a completed Representations and Certifications (Reference: FAR 52.212-3). The Government's preferred method is electronic Representations and Certifications. This can be accomplished by registering in ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov and completing the on-line Representations and Certifications. All questions must be sent via email to gillespie.tiffany@epa.gov by 2pm, Eastern Time, April 23, 2012. The quotation due date is on or before 3pm Eastern Time, April 26, 2012. Please Note: CCR Requirement - Companies must be registered in federal government's national vendor database, the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), before an award could be made to them. If companies are not registered in the CCR, they must do so by going to the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
