- In accordance with FAR Subpart 15.201, Exchanges with industry before receipt of proposals, and FAR Subpart 5.205(c), Special Notices, US Army Contracting Command, Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN), Warren, MI, would like to announce the Government is in the planning stage regarding a solicitation for a competitive Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. These contracts will be the successor to TARDEC OMNIBUS and OMNIBUS III; and will be the successor for ACC-WRN's use of the FIRST contract. The program will be named Strategic Service Solutions (S3). The primary scope of S3 will be for white- and blue-collar services as well as Research and Development (R&D) efforts. Additional details, once they become known, will be posted directly on the S3 Solicitation Homepage (http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/services/S3/S3.htm). Once prepared, the solicitation will be listed on FedBizOpps under "Business Opportunities/Open Solicitations" as solicitation number [TBD]. The currently anticipated approximate issue date for this solicitation is the fourth calendar quarter of 2012. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Email or phone inquiries will not be answered or returned, until invited by the Government.
