This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). NASA at Marshall SpaceFlight Center MSFC) has a need to test Polybenzimidazole Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber(PBI-NBR) insulation material.Attached to this solicitation is the Statement of Work(SOW) and applicable terms and conditions.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.All responsible small business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered bythe agency.Work shall be completed with test report results reported no later than September 15,2012. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4/27/2012 by 3:30 p.m. CST. to JanetAppleton at janet.L.appleton@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, final reportdue by 9/15/2012, payment terms Net 30, warranty duration (if applicable), identificationof any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offers may be submitted on your companies standard form.Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (FEB 2012), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2012), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
