Description

Construction Services for Project # 630A4-10-423. Description: This notice is for project, "Replace Fire Alarm System (SA)," at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, St. Albans Campus, 179-00 Linden Blvd, Jamaica N.Y. 11425 This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 238210, and has a Small Business Standard of $14.0 Million. The estimated price range for this project is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 respectively. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment as per drawings and specifications at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, St. Albans Campus, 179-00 Linden Blvd, Jamaica N.Y. 11425 This includes, provide all necessary labor and material to completely prepare site for installation of a new fire alarm and detection system in buildings 85, 86, 87, 88 (including the domiciliary), 60, 64,65, 89, 91, 92, 93, and 173. The scope includes the furnishing, installation and connection of the fire alarm equipment to form a complete coordinated fiber optic networked fire system ready for operation. It shall include, but not be limited to, alarm initiating devices, alarm notification appliances, control units, fire safety control devices, annunciators, power supplies, and writing as shown on the contract drawings. All work shall be completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Other details/information is in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov The anticipated release date of the RFP is April 27, 2012 and the anticipated closing date is June 12, 2012. The bid submittal address and time is included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and bid submissions shall be in hardcopies and not e-mailed or faxed. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov,www.vetbiz.gov and www.orca.bpn.gov Completion time is (from notice to proceed) 240 calendar days for base bid.
