Major works includes, but is not limited to the following: all road pavements, including parking lots, driveways, bike paths, golf cart paths, and the like; and all airfield pavements, including taxiways, runways, aprons, airfield roads, hangar floors and the like. The work items include, but are not limited to: asphalt & concrete paving, crack sealing, joint sealing, spall repairs, pothole repair, replace curbs & gutters, replace sidewalks, pavement markings, base course & subbase work, excavation, electrical support, landscaping, & others. Magnitude is between $25,000,000.00-$100,000,000.00. The performance period is 365 days from the date of the award and/or through 365 days (366 days for Leap Years) after award of each Option. If options are exercised, the performance period will be up to (but not more than) six, one-year options. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed 84 months. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package will be available only through Electronic Posting System (EPS or Fed BizOpps). This will be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to be issued as an SBA 8(a) competitive set-aside limited to firms serviced by the SBA Alaska District Office or 8(a) firms with a bonafide place of business in the Alaska District Office area which are deemed eligible to submit offers. It has been determined that competition will not be restricted by stage (transitional or developmental) of 8(a) program participation. SBA 8(a) Business plan shall include NAICS Code 237310. The size standard is $33,500,000.00. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Site Visit Information: A site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, 26 April 2012 at 9:00 am. Site Location is Building 10480 22 nd St Elmendorf AFB AK. Offerors are cautioned that Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson has visitor control procedures requiring individuals not affiliated with the installation to obtain a visitor pass prior to entrance. Offerors should allow sufficient time to obtain a visitor pass.
