Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Beckman Coulter, Inc., 200 South Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92821, for continued maintenance on eighteen pieces of Beckman Coulter equipment, including one Biomex FX, two BFX 96 Channel Disp. Head 200UL, one Shaker Alp Single Position, one BFX Orbital Shaker ALP, two Beckman Coulter Marketd Computers, two Biomek FX Disposable Tip Loaders, one Heating/Cooling ALP Single Position, one Ultracentrifuge, two Flow Cytometer, one V1 Cell XR, two Optima TLX CE Ultracentrifuges, one Biomek FX Dual & Span, and one Biomek FX Tip Wash 96-channel. This is for one year of maintenance, Total 8x5 plan, plus two option periods of one year each. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
