- *** Synposis changes the business set aside as follows: The Solicitation HDEC05-12-R-0001, which was previously synopsized as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and was supposed to be posted around March 16, 2012, will be posted May 2, 2012 on FedBizOps as Unrestricted. This solicitation will be for the rental of meat grinder plates and knives, the purchasing of meat cutting saw blades, and the sharpening services for both Biro and Treif meat slicing blades,This requirement will have a one year Base Period of Performance estimated to begin September 1, 2012. This requirement will also have an additional 4 one year option periods. This solicitation will cover all Continental United States commissaries including commissaries in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Please see the attachment, HDEC05-12-R-0001 Listing, for a draft of the types of knives and blades that will be needed for both renting and purchasing.
