Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to Jennifer Scott, for a short-term contract not to exceed six months to create statistical programming tasks for the Health Economic Resource Center at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-56. The NAICS code is 541720 and the small business size standard is $19.0 million. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and resources to create a SAS database for the Health Economic Resource Center (HERC) that identifies all VA patients with more than 50 specific chronic and other health conditions from diagnosis codes in VA encounter records. This database must be created and completed within six months of award.
