Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Richmond, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources for name brand or equal to Virage Simulation VS500M-R Car Simulator. The simulator contains actual car parts for the seat, steering column with all accessories, fully functional dashboard, pedals, center console, automatic transmission, and real-time simulation of the left/right side mirrors. The system can simulate urban areas, rural, highway roads as well as mountainous environments with asphalt, snow or dirt. The simulator contains Multi-Dimensional Assessment (MDA) records that processes each driver behavior along standardized routes with standardized events that can be individually monitored while recording individual performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 336312, Size Standard: 750 Employees and the Classification code is R412. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
