- The purpose for this amendment is to remove the line item for: Transportation Admin Fee (1201) from the items of requirements. Also, to change the solicitation posting date from March 23, 2012 to May 2, 2012 and the closing date from April 10, 2012 to May 14, 2012. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services in Saginaw, Michigan. Location of services should be within a 10 miles radius of U.S. Post Office located at 1233 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on July 1, 2012 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on June 30, 2017. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders includes: Base Year: Estimated number of Inmates = 40 Substance Abuse Treatment Services: Intake Assessments & Report (one per authorized inmate) for 30 inmates = 30 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 30 = 1,440 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 30 = 2,160 units Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 16 units (per inmate) x 30 = 480 units Individual Transportation for 30 inmates = 30 units Mental Health Treatment Services: Mental Health Intake Assessment & Report (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 units Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 48 Work dated April 2011, No Master Required. The request for quotation will be available on or after April 02, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 14, 2012. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
