Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of medical patient transportation services for beneficiaries of the VA Medical Centers, Colmery-O ™Neil 2200 Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622 and Dwight D. Eisenhower 4101 Fourth St Leavenworth, KS 66048. Contractor shall furnish assisted medical transportation services for taxi (ambulatory patients), wheelchair van and litter (non-ambulatory patients) for eligible beneficiaries. Services are required seven (7) days per week (including holidays), twenty-four (24) hours a day, 365 days a year. This is a cascading set-aside beginning with Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ending with Small Business (SB). Contract term will be for a base period of one year expected to begin July 1, 2012 with option to renew four (4) additional one-year periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated for both technical merit and price in accordance with the evaluation procedures of the solicitation. Solicitation will be available on or about April 20, 2012. Due date for receipt of proposals is May 15, 2012, 2:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is July 1, 2012.
