Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F6Z1AG1195A001, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-57. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 713990 and the small business size standard is $7,000,000.00. The Government's requirement is to provide Portable Observation Towers to the Combat Readiness Training Center, Gulfport, MS. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded based on lowest price technically acceptable. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; CLIN 0001 - Portable Observation Tower, 6'x8' building with 360 degree viewing, Double Wall Insulation construction, tinted safety glass sloping three sides, 12,000/10,000 BTU cool and heat, wired 110/220 volt lights and receptacles, rubber floor mat, shelf on front wall, painted white, trap door, 12' ladder, cat walk an 2 sides of cab, double axle trailer with brakes, 12 volt hydraulic raise and lower system. QTY: 2 Unit of Issue: EA CLIN 0002 - 220 Volt Gas Generator for Observation Tower. QTY: 2 Unit of Issue: EA CLIN 0003 - 12' Stairs for Observation Tower QTY: 2 Unit of Issue: EA Items shall be received 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to Gulfport, MS 39507. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 47.303-6, F.O.B. Destination; FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.209-6, Protecting the Government's Interest When Subcontracting with Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment; FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items apply and quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable.
