This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.2 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2082-12 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The North American Industry Classification System code is 313210 Broadwoven Fabric Mills, the size standard is 1,000. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a two-year, firm-fixed-price with 2 one-year options, Requirements type contract for the following commercial items: Fabric, twill, cotton, blue/white, ticking 43 inches wide for use in the manufacture of bedding mattresses for sale to the GSA and other federal agencies. Must meet approved fire retardant treatment per Federal Specification CCC-C-436E dated February 14, 1986.
