- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Maintenace and Repair of Hangar 21 Subsystems, JBPHH, Oahu, Hawaii. The Contractor shall perform maintenance and repair of Hangar 21's subsystems at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The work will include service calls and minor repairs. Hangar 21 subsystems included in this contract are described as follows: 1) TELESCOPING MAST SERVICE PLATFORM - explosion proof, multi-person platform used to service aircraft, 2) AIR SUPPLY, DISTRIBUTION, VENTILATION and EXHASUT SYSTEM - fans, air handlers, and chillers controlled by a Trane DDC, 3) FILTER DOORS and VERTICAL LIFT FABRIC DOORS - doors control aircraft entrance and exit to the hangar, 4) INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER PRE-TREATMENT COMPONENTS - controls the aircraft wash-water collection and treatment system and 5) BREATHING AIR and FACILITY AIR SUPPLY SYSTEMS - provides purified air to personnel servicing the aircraft. The proposed contract type will be a combination firm fixed-price (FFP) and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDID). IDIQ work may be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase cards. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811310 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Interested parties must submit the following information: (1) Full name and address of the firm and (2) A statement regarding your business size (e.g. 8(a), small business, large business, hubzone) (3) A statement that your firm has similar past performance and experience in terms of the scope and dollar value. This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. If issued, the solicitation will utilize source selection procedures, which require offerors to submit technical and price proposals.
