- Agency: General Services Administration Office: Public Buildings Service (PBS) Request for Proposal (RFP) for Performance Based - Commercial Items Procurement for Janitorial and Mechanical Maintenance Services at the St. Albans Federal Building, Highgate Springs LPOE, Alburg Springs LPOE, and Swanton BPSH in Vermont. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 561210, "Facilities Support Services", and the size standard is $35.5 million. Qualified firms must be able to perform both janitorial and mechanical maintenance services over a sustained period of 5 years or more. This is a follow-on requirement for the subject buildings. The requirement is to provide building operations and maintenance and janitorial services at the St. Albans Federal Building, Highgate Springs LPOE, Alburg Springs LPOE, and Swanton BPSH in Vermont. This will be a performance based service contract utilizing commercial item procedures to provide mechanical maintenance services, janitorial services; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance services, grounds keeping, pest control, solid waste removal, recycling, and minor repairs. The approximate combined gross square footage for the buildings listed above is 121,752 square feet. The period of performance is a base period of one year with four one-year options. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled on or about 06/05/2012. Award is anticipated to be on or about 09/17/12 with services starting on or about 11/01/2012. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov). The offeror is responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and associated documents.
