- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. AS OF THE DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. This Request for Information/Sources Sought (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this request for information nor will the Government compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information for the Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this RFI to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Respondents may provide information on any currently available product that meets the National Park Service's requirements. The National Park Service (NPS), Northeast Region, Major Acquisition Buying Office in Philadelphia, PA is seeking sources that can provide annual fire alarm and suppression monitoring and maintenance on Marioff HI-FOG CPU Light Hazard sprinkler system, including all required replacement parts, for Martin Van Buren National Historic Site in Kinderhook, NY. Contractor must be an experience and/or certified repair person in the aforementioned system thereby assuring the continuance of any applicable warranties related to the system, and provide proof of such certification/experience in response to this RFI. Any comments and/or questions regarding the technical aspects of this RFI ought to be directed to Alan Spence, Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, by phone at 518-758-9689, or by email at alam_spence@nps.gov. Interested parties responding to this RFI are requested to provide commercial pamphlets, operating manuals, or any other documentation that will assist National Park personnel in recognizing possible sources. It is further requested that such information be submitted NO LATER THAN May 9, 2012 to Mr. Jason Pratt, C/O National Park Service, Major Acquisition Buying Office, 200 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or by email at jason_pratt@nps.gov. Any request for copies of solicitations will not be addressed since this is a request for information, not a request for quote.
