Project Number: 568-12-208, Reconfigure Morgue Space Location: VA Black Hills Health Care System, Basement of Hospital, Hot Springs This project was developed to improve the underutilized space of the autopsy room and to provide the VA staff with a more ergonomically acceptable morgue cooler and an adequate pharmacy storage space. Description: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment, and necessary supervision to perform all work associated with Project 568-12-208, Reconfigure Morgue Space as indicated on the contract documents and drawings, as follows: Demolition will consist of, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of morgue cooler, autopsy table, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, CMU walls, flooring, doors, and etc. New construction will consist of, but is not limited to installation of: new metal stud walls, new carpet and base, new unisex restroom, new morgue cooler, new pharmacy storage space, new office space, new general storage space, new HVAC ducts, new lights, relocating of crawl space access door, new plumbing fixtures, new pharmacy storage shelves, and etc. Contractor will be responsible for all infection control measures as indicated in the contract documents and drawings. Project Phasing: Phase project as specified in contract documents and plans. Award of this project shall be in accordance with Public Law (PL) 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006. It is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All SDVOSBs must be registered in the Central Contractors Registry (CCR); http://www.ccr.gov, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA); https://orca.bpn.gov as well as certified in the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database; www.VetBiz.gov, prior to submitting a proposal. Technical and Cost proposals will be accepted from responsible and responsive contractors only. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 120 days. NAICS: 236220, P&S: Z2DZ.
