- Notice of Intent “ Laboratory Equipment (Analyzer) Maintenance The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to issue a five year (one base year plus four one year option periods) requirements contract on a sole source basis to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46256. The proposed requirements contract shall have a the following period of performance: Base period 01 October 2012 “ 30 September 2013 Option period 01: 01 October 2013 “ 30 September 2014 Option period 02: 01 October 2014 “ 30 September 2015 Option period 03: 01 October 2015 “ 30 September 2016 Option period 04: 01 October 2016 “ 30 September 2017 Roche Diagnostics Corporation shall provide for all inclusive parts, labor, materials, travel, personnel, supervision, and shipping costs necessary to perform maintenance services contract for designated laboratory equipment (Hitachi High Speed Screening Analyzer D and P Modular and Cobas C311 Systems) at the following 7 Department of Defense (DoD) laboratory sites: Navy Drug Screening Laboratory, Great Lakes, IL; Navy Drug Screening Laboratory, Jacksonville, FL; Navy Drug Screening Laboratory, San Diego, CA; Army Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory, Fort Meade, MD; Army Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory, Tripler Army Medical Center, HI; Headquarters Air Force Drug Testing Laboratory, Lackland Air Force Base, TX; and Armed Forces Medical Examiner System, Dover Air Force Base, DE. This acquisition is commercial services and is being conducted IAW FAR Part 12 and FAR 16.5. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same service. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as an MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Timothy Karol at Timothy.Karol@med.navy.mil (in subject line you shall reference: Laboratory Equipment (Analyzer) Maintenance). Statements are due no later than 14 May 2012, 04:00 PM EST. No phone calls accepted.
