- Specifications The San Jose Job Corps is seeking bids to replace approximately 22,500 square feet of carpeting in a student dormitory, L-2. The area consists of dormitory rooms, lounge area, stairs, and office space. Specifications on carpet preferred are attached. Bid should include demo of existing glue down carpet and haul away. Furnish and install 1/8th inch rubber cove base to match carpet. Bid should include normal preparation and patching of existing sub-floor for new carpet. All furnishings in the rooms and lounge area will be removed by the center prior to installation. The square feet are approximate; bidder is solely responsible for measuring and guaranteeing the square footage required.
