- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Fully Found Vessel, operating personnel, facilities, fuel, oil, food and support equipment as specified, to conduct a geophysical survey to map submarine canyons and landslide features. Work will be conducted in waters between 400 and 3000 m.The survey will require one cruise comprised of one leg of approximately 7 days within the period of July 16 to July 24 2012. The Point of Origin for this operation will be a port in the Mid-Atlantic states (DE, MD, VA). The vessel shall be available for mobilization 1 day before work commences and demobilization 1 day after the cruise This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and no separate solicitation will be issued. This Set aside is for 100 percent small business. The NAICS code is 488390.The anticipated award date of the contract is June 1. 2012. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
