Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to initiate a Request for Quote (RFQ) procurement and award a firm fixed price Purchase Order to INSTALL Propulsion Monitoring Panels in support of the Dredge McFarland. Pre-Quotation Vessel Visit: There will be a pre-quotation inspection for potential offerers aboard the McFarland during the month of April in Philadelphia, PA. Interested offerors should contact Mr. Ian Enterline at 215-200-9512 for exact time and date as well as directions to the inspection location. Warranty of supplies/services will apply. Liquidated damages may apply for failure to complete the work within the designated performance period. The acquisition will be solicited using the procurement process prescribed in Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical and past performance, when combined, are more important than cost or price. Solicitation No. W912BU-12-T-0027 will be available on or about 17 April 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FBO Internet homepage and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Offerors are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. Offers will be due on 16 May 2012 and can be faxed to 215-656-6798, ATTN: Robert R. Hilton III or e-mailed directly to Robert.r.hilton@usace.army.mil All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD's Central Contractor Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Information on getting registered may be obtained by phoning 1-888-227-2423 or by accessing the following internet website: http://www.ccr.gov. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $25,000.00 are required by legislation (FAR 22.1310(b)) to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
