- This announcement serves as notice to all potential offerors the 31st Contracting Squadron (31 CONS/LGCB), Via Pordenone 89/B, Area"E", Edif 600, Base Aerea di Aviano, Aviano (PN), Italy anticipates to release a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) under solicitation number FA5682-12-R-0009 for Security Guard Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS codes for this solicitation is 561612 - Security Guards and Patrol Services. 31 CONS is advertising it intent to post the RFP on or about 10 May 2012, for a requirement for Security Guard Services at the Solar Observatory San Vito dei Normanni Brindisi, Italy The duration of the contract is prescribed as five (5) years (base plus four (4) option periods), from 01 October 2012 to 30 September 2017, and will be issued under full and open competition procedures, with an anticipated award date of 30 July 2012. The formal announcement of the RFP will provide all applicable documents for this requirement. NOTE: A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD 15 MAY AT 10:00 HOURS IN FRONT OF THE SOLAR OBSERVATORY S.S.16X BARI, SAN VITO DEI NORMANNI (BRINDISI), ITALY. PLEASE CONFIRM ATTENDANCE BY 11 MAY 2012.
