- Scopr of work for this project is for, but is not limited to a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property at Yokota Air Base and Off-Base Sites in Kanto Plain (Narita Air Terminal, Tama Service Annex, Fuchu C.S., Momote Annex, Owada C.S., Tokorozawa Transmitter Site and Yuki Radio Relay Site) and Remote Sites (Chitose Auxiliary Annex (Hokkaido), Sofu C.S. (Yamaguchi), Seburiyama Radio Relay Site (Saga), Itazuke Auxiliary Airfield (Fukuoka) and Tsushima C.S. (Nagasaki)), Japan (see attachment 1) with majority of work being performed at Yokota Air Base and Off-Base Sites in Kanto Plain. This is Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-EPA) an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract and lists wide variety of individual construction tasks as listed in a Unit Price Book (UPB) for design and construction efforts. The maximum unguaranteed minimum amount for the life of the contract is Y5,000,000,000 (yen). Under the incumbent SABER contact, the Government have issued Task Orders totaling over Y2,000,000,000 (yen). Construction projects will be awarded by individual task orders on an as needed basis. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including, but not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering and minimum technical design support), items and incidentals necessary for the successful completion of issues task order. The Government will provide space for a contractor’s field office upon the contractor’s request. Mobilization, set-up and connection to utilities are the responsibilities of the contractor. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED ENTIRELY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENCED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
