Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies to perform all work required to apply pesticides for kudzu control on the Fort Benning Military Reservation. Areas are dispersed throughout the 182,000 acre reservation and most have had one prior treatment. 30,000 gallons of Escort(metsulphuron methyl) tank mix will be applied at the rate of 4 ounces Escort plus 2 quarts non-ionic surfactant per 100 gallons of water per acre. A generic form of Escort is allowable if applied at the same rate. ***NOTE*** CLOSING DATE; APRIL 30, 2012 BY 2:00P.M. EASTERN TIME
