Description
This is a sources sought synopsis to determine the availability of potential sources capable of providing the U.S. Navy with surveillance modules that are designed to fit into a standard 8 foot truck bed. The surveillance platform cannot be built into the vehicle, as for the module must be able to be moved to a newer model vehicle after the intended service life of the older model has been reached. For market research purposes only, the Navy requests a modular design that is not vehicle dependent. The minimum specifications are below. (1) Auto Eject 120VAC External Weather Proof Receptacle (1) Inverter & Batter Charger providing a minimum 2000 watts of AC Power & 100 Amps of Battery Charging for Batteries (1) Dual Battery Bank Monitor Status Panel (1) Compressed Gas Surveillance Air Conditioning System (2) Flexible Gooseneck Wall Mount Work Lights, 12vdc (1) Retractable Video Scope & Controller (1) Rack Mount Equipment Cabinet Module, Control Panel & Switchers (2) 17" TFT/LCD Flat Screen Monitors - 12VDC (1) 7" TFT/LCD Flat Screen QUAD Security Monitor ~ Wall Mounted ~ 12VDC (1) RF 99 Channel Field Programmable Body Wire Rx w/Antenna (1) DVR Recorder w/Down Port, Down Load Cable & OS (1) DVR Recorder and Router, 1 TB Storage (1) Hand Held Manual Lens Controller for Side Window Lens-Camera System (1) 13-280mm Motorized Zoom Lens for Video Scope (1) 10-220mm Motorized Zoom Lens (2) Day Night Color Cameras (1) Super Low Light B&W Camera at least.0003 Lux (4) Perimeter Video Board Cameras (4) Perimeter External Microphones (2) Camera Mounts with Clamps, Swivel Heads & Wall Mount Brackets (1) Cellular Modem & Flat High Cellular Antenna (1) Single Channel H.264 Video Server (1) Alarm System with Key Fob (1) ABC Fire Extinguisher (1) Carbon Monoxide Detector (1) Digital LCD wall clock (1) Dry Erase / Magnetic Board (1) Roof Ladder Rack A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334290 and the standard is 750. Offerors possessing the capabilities for the subject requirement are invited to respond to this market research survey/source sought synopsis. To demonstrate technically acceptability, offerors shall provide product information that is sufficient in detail of how the items(s) offered meet the required specifications. All submissions are required to be submitted via e-mail to Christine.Shockley@navy.mil no later than 4:00 pm (local time/Philadelphia, PA) on 10 May 2012.
