Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, 550 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111, intends to enter into a Sole Source procurement with CISCOR Acquisition, LLC, 126 West Main Street, Norman, Oklahoma, 73069. The procurement action is to purchase all equipment necessary to tie into the VA Salt Lake City Health Care Systems existing repeater (panic alarm) system. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334290 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 4:00 p.m. MST, Friday, May 18, 2012 to: C. Jean Olson, Contract Specialist at jean.olson2@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished to the Government at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
