- Attachment A - Product List This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12EN220-096; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58, Effective 18 APR 2012. Note: This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside The Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition & Procurement Office is requesting quotes for the following on a brand specific basis for the purchase of renewal Software and Hardware maintenance for F5s BIG-IP Load Balancer. Maintenance must cover currently installed BIG-IP Load Balancer software. Please see the Attachment A - Product list. Brand Name Justification: F5 Software and hardware maintenance, Big-IP, has been implemented by the Office of the Secretary of Defense - Chief Information Officer (OSD-CIO), and the use of another application could result in increased training costs, increased hardware and software configuration, and increased technical support. Evaluation: FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1: Lowest price technically acceptable. Additional Information: 1. Quotes must be firm-fixed-priced, and include all quantities listed, all or none. 2. Period of Performance: 11 MAY 2012 - 10 MAY 2013.
