Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), with Applied Biosystems is based on the vendor ˜s proprietary software to the Genetic Analyzer. The requirement is for a preventative maintenance agreement in support of the existing Genetic Analyzer for a base period and 2 option years NTE 36 months. Place of performance is the Naval Health Research Center San Diego, CA. The applicable NAICS code is 811219. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time on 11 May 2012. All interested parties must demonstrate their ability to provide the material and expertise required in collecting and analyzing specimens using the passive drool method. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
