Description

SOLICITATION P12PS40051 IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. The work will be resolicited in the near future under a small business set-aside.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Following is an excerpt from the original synopsis: This contract is for demolition and disposal of existing floating dock, aluminum gangway, and treated wood piles to the mud line; construction of a new fixed pier with gangway and floating dock; fabrication and installation of new handrail to replace existing handrail at existing stone and concrete stairway and abutment; construction of a raised platform above the existing concrete landing; and conducting a dynamic cone penetration testing program to determine pile driving method and installation of support piles. All work will be performed under a single firm-fixed-price construction contract subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. On-site work will occur between June 5, 2012, and January 14, 2013, per the conditions of the Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million, average annual gross receipts for the past three years.
