- NASA/LARC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Environmental SupportServices (ESS). Previous release regarding the ESS was posted under sources soughtSS-ESS-2011. The environmental support services include the following areas: Environmental Management System and Sustainability, Project/Program Planning and theNational Environmental Policy Act, Recycling Program, Sustainable Acquisition, WasteManagement, Laboratory Support, Air Quality Program, Water Quality Program, Tank ProgramSupport, Cultural Resource Management Support, Energy and Water Conservation Support,Remediation, and Other Services. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541620 and $14M, respectively.All responsible small sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by theagency.The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about May 31, 2012 with an anticipatedoffer due date of on or about July 2, 2012. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
