- Description
- This is a synopsis regarding solicitation N00421-12-R-0002, AIR-7.4 Security Support Services, which is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Security Competency (AIR 7.4) has a requirement to provide continuing support services in specific areas of control measures for protecting classified information, including Technology Protection, International Programs Security (Foreign Disclosure and foreign national visits), Information Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Physical Security/Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism, Continuity of Operations (COOP), and Communications Security (COMSEC). The U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) proposes to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. Security Support Services are to be provided for and in support of the NAVAIR Team. Facilities within the NAVAIR Team are located at Patuxent River, MD; Lakehurst, NJ; China Lake, CA; Point Mugu, CA; Orlando, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Cherry Point, NC; and North Island, CA. The Statement of Work is included in Section C of the solicitation. This solicitation is being issued as a competitive 8(a) Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 541611 and the size standard is $7M. The awarded contract will consist of a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with one base year and two (2) option years. Only one contract will be awarded; multiple contracts will not be awarded. Period of Performance will be 01 December 2012 to 30 November 2015, if all options are exercised. The closing date for this solicitation will be on June 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. EST. NOTE: This solcitation is being re-issued for thirty (30) days as a result of a lack of proposals in response to the initial publication of this solicitation. Offerors wishing to submit a proposal are responsible for downloading the RFP from the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) website at http://navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.display&key=OpenSolicitations and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a completed SF 33 and associated proposal documentation as outlined in the RFP, which shall be considered by the agency. All proposals shall be sent to the Government POC at the address below. Proposals submitted via email or fax will not be accepted. All questions should be submitted in writing to the Government POC by 31 May 2012.
