- The VA Network Contract Administration for Upstate, New York intends to award a sole source Purchase Contract with Volcano Corporation, Rancho Cordova, CA for a Intravascular Ultrasound System for the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, NY that is a critical device in performing various cardiac catheterization procedures and is compatible with some already existing equipment and will not require the additional expense of training as the staff is already familiar with this product. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation package will be available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely within the discretion of the Government.
