- This is a Request for Information (RFI) on a Radio Transceivers. Funding is not available at this time for any information or proposals submitted. Submitting information does not bind the Government for any future contracts/grants resulting from this RFI nor does the Government make any gaurantees of any nature to any parties offering a reply to this RFI. The findings from this Market Research effort may impact any future solicitations related to this requirement. This Market Resreach is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. Any responses to this RFI received by the Government will not be accepted to form a binding contract. This is a Request for Information only and does not constitute a solicictation or request for proposal and as such no award will be made as a result of this sources sought notice. If a solicitation is issued, the Government does not guarantee that it will be issued to RFI respondents. The Government is also requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to the RFI. The Government is seeking information on the following supplies and service: 4 Transceivers, Self contained, Uninterruptible suitcase style integrated power audio system with wheels and retractable handle for 4 AN/PRC-117G or RF-7800R-RC remote control. DC outputs: 26V/5.25A. Including AC and DC cables and storage space. (1 each) 6-Net mixer and High Efficiency Amplified Speaker unit with special Automatic Level Control (ALC), low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and low DC power consumption. Interfaces with up to 6 Tactical Transceivers and Encryption units to include AN/PSC-5, AN/PSC-5D, MBMMR, AN-PRC-117F, AN/PRC-150, AN/PRC-148 MBITR, SINCGARS, AN/PRC-113, AN/URC-200, LST-5, KY57/99, Sunburst and others. (1 each) DC Power Interface Cable for Amplified Speaker. 10' long. MS3116F10-98P plug to connect with a AUX connector on the ABP-AC/DC/BT-TR-1 unit. (1 Ea) Audio Interface Cable for Amplified Speaker. 10' long. U-329/U (GC-329) 6-pin plug to connect with the transceiver/encryption unit handset/headset receptacle (same as U-229/U 5-pin plug) (4 each) No telephonic submission will be honored. All product information shall be submitted at no cost or obligation to the government.
