- The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate a contract on the basis of other than Full and Open Competition 1AW10 USC2304(c)(1) - only one responsible source. The source is MDA Information Systems, Inc., 1250 Lincoln Ave. Suite 100, Pasadena, CA 91103 who is to build a second robotic arm that will be totally identical and interoperable with the existing arm built by MDA. MDA has proprietary restrictions on various elements of the existing arm that they built under the current contract.
