- Brand Name Justification - Oracle Requirement Description - Pricing Chart Export-Import Bank of the U.S. has a requirement to purchase "Oracle Database Appliance" units, which are used to operate various database systems that comprise the Bank's financial processing IT infrastructure. The requirement includes peripheral components and first year maintenance support, as described in the attachment. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a requisition for quotations under RFQ number EXIM-12-Q-0039. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 05-58. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prospective offerors are instructed to submit the following: 1.) Pricing, for all items shown in the attached Requirement Description document. Either a completed version of the chart, or a similar quote document, showing all items, may be used. 2.) Documentation of applicable certifications from Oracle, to act as an authorized re-seller for the items offered. Offers may be submitted by facsimile (preferred) to (202) 565-3527, or by electronic mail. Electronic mail submission should only be used after contacting the Contracting Officer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Applicable NAICS code is 423430. Total contract dollar value is estimated at between $ 110,000 and $120,000. The requirement is set aside (100%) for small businesses. Place of performance is Export-Import Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC. This announcement incorporates FAR clauses 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Feb 2012); 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Apr 2012)); 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2012)); and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (May 2012)).
