- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), seeks a contract to provide Metal Cattle Ear Tags and Taggers to States and Tribes, who will administer the devices to Producers and Accredited Veterinarians in accordance with their animal disease traceability plan. This is a Small Business Set Aside, NAICS code 332999, 500 employees. The resulting contract(s) will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. All line items are Indefinite quanities and will be managed in accordance with the Statement of Work. This will be a best value procurement, with the following evaluation factors, Technical, Past Performance and Price. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFQ) AG-6395-S-12-0082, will be released on or about May 16, 2012 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website.
