- The NAVSUP Fleet and Logistics Center, San Diego, Contracting Department is announcing its intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial items. The Government intends to award the proposed contract action to Harris Corporation DBA: Harris RF Communication, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610-1839. The NAICS code is 5820 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is to acquire the following: 1. Broadband Tactical Radio, P/N: RF-7800M-MP041, Qty: 3 each; 2. Dismount Kit Falcon III MP, P/N: RF-7800M-DK001, Qty: 3 each; 3. Charger 6-Bay System AC, P/N: RF-5853-CH006, Qty: 2 each; 4. Wideband Networking Radio, P/N: RF-300W-HH002, Qty: 10 each. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any interested contractor capable of providing this requirement is invited to submit a written notification to the Contract Specialist within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document exists.
