Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA and the National Weather Service (NWS) is awarding a Purchase Order for 20 each of Hood, Upper, Standard, with Hardware, Belfort P/N 18295, NSN: 6660-00-117-1758; ASN: D111-1A100-1 and 20 each of Funnel, Belfort P/N 351C101U01, NSN: 6660-00-71-0435; ASN: D111-1SP105. These items are specifically manufactured by Belfort Instrument Co. for the NWS spare parts program. Belfort is the only qualified manufacturer of the D111 gage, precipitation, weighing, punched tape binary- coded-decimal, and its components. The Hood, Upper, Standard, with Hardware P/N 18295 and Funnel P/N 351C101U01are an integral part of the Gage, and is unique to Belfort's design. A sources sought notice was posted on FedBizOps under NWWA12001253392KLC on April 24, 2012 for a 10-day posting that resulted in no responses to the notice.
