- In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii), 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.', the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN), intends to award a sole source contract modification to Caterpillar Defense and Federal Products for storage of the 924H Loader. A contract modification will be issued to the existing production contract with Caterpillar. Caterpillar is uniquely qualified to fulfill the contract requirements because they are the original manufacturer of the equipment and only Caterpillar is capable of preparing the vehicles for storage, exercising the vehicles during storage, and performing any of the necessary repairs to the vehicles that is required as a result of storage. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
