- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Wastewater Sludge Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Three Rivers, Texas. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2013 and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The contract rate for these services shall be on a per pull/container basis. It is estimated that the contractor will be required to remove 1000 cubic yards of wastewater sludge per year. The number of estimated pulls is based on a 20 cubic yard container (20 cubic yard container X 50 estimated pulls/year = 1000 cubic yards estimated/year). Pulls will be on an as needed basis with a minimum 24 hour advance notice. The contract rate shall include all charges for providing these services. The solicitation will be available on or about May 16, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is June 14, 2012, 2:00 P.M. CT, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size standard of $12.5 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is September 1, 2012 with an effective date of October 1, 2012.
