Description

Correct Request for Quote (RFQ) document ADMENDMENT 1 THE PURPOSE OF THIS ADMENDMENT IS TO PROVIDE THE CORRECT RFQ DOCUMENT AND INFORM POTENITAL BIDDERS OF ITEMS DISCUSSED AT THE PRE-BID MEETING WHICH OCCURRED ON 05/09/2012: THE APPROMIMATE SIZE IS 5400 SQUARE FEET, THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT KNOW WHO THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER IS. Scope of Work reviewed including: 1. Remove all old insulation, replace with 2" spray foam. 2. Don't need to check lightening rod grounding. 3. Looking for recommendations for bird deterrents. 4. Contractors say 2-4 weeks for work time. 5. 20-30% damage of tiles WILL occur during removal. 6. Nothing needs to be approved by historical building society. 7. Robert has ½ pallet of tiles on property for matching. 8. In SOW on page 1 under Roofing Repairs, second bullet to read: Replace copper flashing at eaves and walls. Add: Replace eaves. 9. In SOW on page 1 under Re-Roofing, change bullet 2 to: Install 3.1" Poly-Iso with ¾" plywood over existing deck. Improved decking shall have an R-25 insulation value. New deck assembly shall included new copper drip edging, counter-flashing at walls. Stainless steel screws shall be used throughout. (as outlined on p. 073213-7, section 3.3C ) END OF ADMENDMENT
