Description

SYNOPSIS The Bedford Contracting VISN 1 intends to negotiate sole source with Philips Medical Systems North America Inc, Andover, MA for the following: Maintenance Agreement for Carevue or ICIP System SN# 865047 and 865047 I01 (7 ICU bed 1-16), IntelliVue Clinical Information Portfolio to Also include two software Upgrades, One application software upgrade with clinical education and two counseling services. Manufacturer: Philips HealthCare, Period of Performance: Base year plus four (4) Option Years. This purchase will enable the Medical Facility to maintain a highly utilized equipment to meet the needs of their medical patients. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 to Philips Health Care. The anticipated award date is: June 2012 timeframe. This synopsis is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based on only one source providing full compatibility to existing equipment currently in use.
