- The above requirement request is hereby extended to COB, Friday May 25, 2012. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source firm fix price award to Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, 82 Technology Park Drive, East Falmouth, MA 02536 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Teledyne Webb Research is the manufacturer of the equipment. The requirement is for five (5) Air Deployable Certified Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth (CTD) Iridium Based Bi-directional Communication Autonomous Profiling floats. The floats must be approved and certified for air deployment from a C-130 aircraft and contain all associated rigging for air deployment, including parachute. Estimated value of these actions is under $96K. FOB: Destination, Stennis Space Center, MS 39522-5001. This requirement will process utilizing FAR 12 and FAR 13 procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Devices with the business size standard of 500 employees. Award of purchase order N62306-12-P-7011 will be made on or about June 1, 2012. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Any inquires concerning this requirement is to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
